DISCOVER THE GARDENS OF CROZANT
Near Crozant, two gardens as different as exceptional are to be discovered:
The ”Arboretum de la Sédelle” is a valley next to the river Sédelle, on about ten hectares, the garden contains remarkable plants and arrangements. Its strong point is its collection of maples (over a hundred).
The arboretum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Website: www.arbotetumsedelle.com
The ”Clos du Préfons” gardens, in an intimate setting and contains a wealth of plants installed around an old 19th century forge. The various clos are linked by a wet meadow where local flora and rarer horticultural species grow in semi-freedom.

Half a day is required to visit each garden. Guided tours are available, although it would be recommended to reserve a guide upfront. For those who are more experienced walkers, it is possible to reach the gardens on foot, otherwise they are a 10 minute drive away.
The Creuse countryside has been the setting for many other gardens, which can be found on the website: www.tourisme-creuse.com
